This isn't real but you get a good enough idea of it. Freshly taken picture and photoshopped for your pleasure

Original pic with untinted ftps

I doubt it'll make much difference, since the area behind them is already dark. There's no light being reflected back out like there is with the other lights.

And Photoshop is not going to give you a realistic idea of how light will be affected, because tinting only affects light passing through the lense, not what gets reflected off it.

A buddy of mine (BCTY) on here had his FTP's and all running lights etc blacked out on a red S4. Looks good if done right.

That looks awsome on the red, I bet it would look pretty sweet on blue too, how did you go about doing that?

you buy a spray can paint type thing called nightshades and just spray on usein very light coats and keep going till u get the darkness u like.. The light still comes though fine.. not as bright mind you but meh.

I'm sorry about posting this in a semi-unrelated thread, but I thought it was unneccesary to create an entire new thread about it.

I recently placed lights behind my FTP lenses, and I'm making a writeup about it. I'm wondering if its worth it to finish this writeup, because I don't want to waste my time if no one is going to read it.

Interested?
