I found this guy with 4rx7s and i was talking to him to day about buying one from him. He tolled me he would sell me his it a 87' gxl 5spd with 33000kms on it . Its a new engine in it he payed 4900 for the engine in it to much if you ask me! the car is in good shape and he has all the bill of oil changes to everthing. he tolled me that he would sale me the car for $3300 canadian and a parts car with it and all that wrong is that it got a blown engine its a 88 ? What do you think i should go for it ? Also plz tell me thinks about the car good and bad thx!

Let me see if I get this right. He spent 4900 Canadian (3200 American) on the engine, but he will sell it to you for 3300 Canadian (2200 American) along with a parts car. Something wrong with this picture, unless the guys likes to be tortured. The main question is the condition of the car. If it looks good, inside and out, runs great, clutch, trans, exhaust system, tires, brakes, heater controls, wiper switch, headlight switch and lights seem to function properly...The deal sounds good, especially with a parts car, if you have a place to keep the parts car. May want to have the compression checked, and have the car inspected by someone very familiar with rotaries. These cars are fun, but also troublesome and costly.

I am a body man and i work at eastern chrysler and i am going to take it in on monday and take a good look at it ! and yes i am going to check the compression as well it how be good got a new engine
