Should I Compile a DIY Manual For FCs?

I was looking at this thread and it got me thinking. Would anyone be interested if I made a website or manual to download that came complete with all the do it yourself, or common asked fixes that I could find? Sort of like an organized archive with lots of manuals and such I found online. If I did want to go through with it, would all I have to do is put in the authors names and such and where the source came from and I wouldn't have any problems? Let me know if your interested.

Yes, it would be similar to the FSM, except that it could be modified if need be I assume. Plus, it would give you guys some variety... instead of saying "Search!" you could say "Go here!"

Well, thats not totally what i'm getting at. I mean like if you wanted to install a new intake, they don't have that kind of stuff in the fsm. I mean like the tutorials that people have made for aftermarket parts, and fixing things up. Plus step by step with pictures.

That's a great idea. Something that the forum doesn't always offer. Contrary to popular opinion, the search option doesn't nessissarly pull up everything one could ever desire. If someone is new to something they need something drawn out from start to end. Also, how many posts contain something usefull for someone who is actually doing vs. simply talking?

I guess i'll do it and leave references like everywhere. I'm going to need lots of feedback and such on it, and my first question will be, what format should I put this all in? Just make it HTML so it will be easy for online viewing?

The more I think of questions asked all the time, the more I come up with, if you guys have stuff like this to add, please do.

I was thinking of also making a section with certain mods and what kind of 1/4 mile times and such they ran.

that is a great idea. something that would be cool is have your buying an rx7 then specs then maintnance then light mods then more demanding mods to full blown race car. kind of like the life of a car. different but i would buy it if it was in hardback form.
