i found a turbo II 86 with 140k miles needs to be smogged by jan but otherwise great condition. for sale for 1k dollars what does everyone think?

 

There are no '86 TurboII's (except in Japan.) Ask the seller more about the history...

 

there's no 1986 turbo II, they started in 1987

 

I didnt think that they made Turbo II in 86 I though that they started in 87, i may be wrong but a Turbo II for 1k is not a bad deal, it may need a rebuild soon depending on how the previous owner took care of it. Have a compression test done also

might be a '87 turboII sold in '86, on my pink slip ('86 GXL) says sold in '85, so maybe the seller assumed it was a '86...?

 

remember the 87 model year was built from 6/86 through 7/87
