short shifter S4 or S5

I would like to know if the only difference between an S4 and an S5 short shifter is the thread for the shift ****?

That's the only difference. I drive an S4 but decided to go with an S5 short shifter so I had a larger selection of shift ***** to choose from. I ended up going with a stock FD shift **** and I like it a lot.
