Short Block Swap Materials

What would I need to do a shortblock swap? I know I need Intake and exaust manifold gaskets, but what else would I need? and what can I do about the A/C system? I dont have a way to depresurize the system. Is there anything else I need to look out for? Any help would be apreacaited.
