Short Belt to bypass accessories

I searched but found nothing. Anyway is there a way to use a shorter belt to bypass the accessories like ac, ps, to free up some power when at the drag strip. Mustang guys do it all the time and it usually free's up a few tenths. If any body has done it What belt sizes will I need?
