shocks for daily driver?

I have an S5 NA in need of some new shocks. This car is used primarily on the highway and two-lane country roads. I'm looking for a budget compromise between OE and full-on coilovers. Any suggestions and prices? Thanks.

Give us more of what you're willing to pay.
Sears specials are like $150 for all four.
Top-notch coilover systems are like $2000+.
That's some spread.

Koni Yellow is what I would vote for. About 500 for all four struts. Then maybe the racing beat springs.

That would be a nice compromise.
