Shipping a FC

I need to ship a FC from Oregon to Arizona, does anybody know any good (cheap) places. The car runs and I can get sombody to drive it to the truck place and I can pick it up. Also I don't need a covered trailer, I am jsut basically looking for the cheapest place. Anybody got any ideas?

Bob's Interstate Auto and Chicken Shipping

The biggest problem going cheap is that generally the cheaper it is the longer it waits to be hauled. So they might pick it up from you on Monday the 1st, but then it sits in a yard waiting for a couple other cars to come in, before it is actually shipped. So a simple trip from OR to AZ might only take a day or so on the hauler, but it might sit in the yard for a week or more at each end.

well the thing is I dont really NEED the car here anytime, it's more of a "project" car so if it takes a month or whatever I dont really care.

Why not go pick it up? It would prolly be more expensive, but you KNOW the drive back would be fun!

Hmmm there are a number of shippers that transport cars, but its gonna run from about $400 and up. When I researched it, I just used an internet search engine.

Where in oregon to where in az?

I just got a 91 GXL which is being shipped from Knoxville Tn to Tucson Az... cost is $750 with insurance. FWIW that's about a 30hour road trip.

BTW, the car is loaded with leather, runs great, origional owner garaged with a bent front fender... and the total cost with shipping is $750
