Shifter Question....Please Do Not Flame Me!!

Ok, I admit it. I like certian parts of the 90 min NOS commercial. How does one make the shifter "click" really loud when it shifts? Is it a real kit, like metallic bushings, or is it totally hollywood? If it is total b/s, just don't respond! I am sooooo gonna get flamed for this.

Hollywood for the most part. None of the FC trannies I have ever made a noise(3 of them), but the tranny from my FB has a very distinctice snick when shifting.

But its much louder in the movie than in real life. You can barely even hear it in the FB when shifting while driving.

I just now replaced my shifter bushings in my fc....or rather put them on there weren't any actually on that I could see lmao. Anyways there is a small but noticable click when shifted into gear but this is with the car off. Running to redlin and shifting I doubt it will be audible

Just put a metal ring that is slightly to big on the shifter, when you shift it will jingle. Kind of a dumb idea, eh?
