Shifter problem.

I have a a friend who drives 1988 RX-7 and i am trying to help him. His shifter is very very lose. When it goes into gear its still very loose feels like its not in gear. Anything i can do to fix it?

Don't the shifter bushings control that? You might want to replace them.

yes its the shifter bushings, im 110% sure, my FC need some too, its very sloopy and getting into reverse is hard.
