Shifter/Brakes/New Guy

Hello,

I'm new to the RX7 world so please bear with me. I'm looking for an 88-91 Turbo II. Is there anything I should look out for?

Is the turbo II's shifter cable or fork actuated?

Are the stock brakes adaquete?

Thanks in Advance,

Hakan Uras

Hydrolic clutch, no cable. Yes, 4 pot brakes w/ vented rotors up front. 1 pot w/ vented rotors in the back. They work FINE. Get some Hawk HP+ pads and ss lines, and you're set. Compression is the biggest issue on a used rex. Why 88? 89-91 is the series 5.
