I just got a shift light (traded for an intake filter). I was wondering if any of you guys have wired one in and how to do it. Oh and about the accuracy thing, what should i set the thing at 4,6, or 8. Im going to wire an adjustable resistor thing so i can just set it at where i want it.

Well, you are going to need either an rpm activated switch or something like that. Maybe an MSD pill activated switch. The light needs an output froma tach to turn on. I don't think the stock one will work in this fashion. you may need an aftermarket tach for it to work.
