Shift **** Question

I just installed the Mazdatrix Short Shifter and the shift **** I was previously using will not fit the SS. Just trying to see what some of you guys are using. I think I might go to a junkyard tomorrow and try to find something. I've heard of people using old Camaro shift ***** on the Mazdatrix.

I got a cheap Pilot shift **** from autozone for $10. It's much shorter than the stock ****, so it might work for you.

Hmm...I wish my damn old shift **** fit onto the Mazdatrix, it was so sweet. I was under the impression that shift ***** were for the most part universal, but I guess not.

I guess my question is: Do I have to find a shift **** that will screw onto the threadings of the Mazdatrix SS?

Just drive without it. Everyone knows you can drive better with a hole in your hand!

Mine does not screw on. It comes with several different sleeves for different size shift levers. Put the appropriate sized sleeve over the end of the lever, put the **** on over that, and there are 3 allen screws that go into the side. I haven't had a problem with it yet, it's on there for good (until I swap it for a better one that is).
