She's finally In **pics**

I'm still In disbelief. The TII conversion was completed In a day turn around and It will be picked up tomorrow. Talk about fast. All that Is left Is the Microtech LT8 wire up and my 3" Exhaust within the following week or so.
If I can work my new Motor and Clutch In and do a rough tune on the LT8 before the season Is over, I'll be happy as can be. Anyway, here Is some pics.

I'm so used to **** eyeing my former NA setup and have something new to look at now.

Damn that looks sick In what I thought was a clean
Engine Bay. I've got a lot of scrubbing to do over the Winter and It will not nearly look like this come Spring time...

The entire Drivetrain was sandblasted, painted Flat Aluminum and put In. Although I haven't personally seen It yet, It still looks sick. To bad It won't stay stock looking like that next Spring.

Here Is a pic of the Install with Ivan. He's not just another pretty face, but a smart guy too.

A very big thanks Can-Saf for my meticulous requests and attending to my attention to detail and we'll see you next time for some more...

What's taking you so long?
I've went through 5 motor rebuilds and 3 of them were ported in 3 weeks already. I've got to take care of 3 Haltech installs (2 E6K's and one E11V1) over the next 10 days.

Last pic didn'y make It In my thread...

Thanks guys. I'm overwhelmed about my setup. I've been through to much with my FC to part It out and get a TII. I'm sentimental like that.

There you go Ted. Making my project look like It's no big deal.

I've gained a fetish for sandblasting. I plan on taking my Suspension apart for some sandblasting and painting. It's not as bad as looks though. I would have loved to have painted the rest of the Engine Bay Silver with the Motor out. I have more stock crap coming out to accomadate my LT8. Thus, allowing more ease to get Into hard to reach areas.

The pics of your Drivetrain promoted the onset of mines Sanford. So, you should be flattered. My original thread, with pics of my Motor on display on the red curtain can be found here.https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ighlight=turbo You must have missed It b'c I know I would have heard from you.

Let's just say that my rebuild on my J-Spec s5, BIG streetport, sandblast of the Motor and painting of It didn't suggest for me to do the Ideal thing In simply getting a TII. I got hooked up large and found Can-Saf to be very fair. So I went with It.

Looks brand new. What kind of mufflers are you using with that full 3" setup?

Still waiting on the cost...

But, it does look amazing! What are your plans turbo-wise? I am assuming you are not going to keep that little S4 turbo on the side of the block.

You might like to consider a blasting method that is a little less abrasive. I use glass beads, definitely more expensive for the media but the results are IMHO a lot better.

I still sandblast things like exhaust pipes before painting, but for items that are aluminum or require a smooth surface I use the glass, I did a lot of my engine this way

The pics really bring out the rust but It Isn't as bad as It appears though. I got the Oil Filler Cap from Mazdatrix and I'm running a s5 Motor and Turbo. I already have plans on ditching the stock one already, before even running my conversion. It does look small In those pics with the LIM towering over them.

Tomorrow Aaron Cake and I will be Installing the LT8 with an upcoming How To Install a Microtech LT8 write up coming up. Oops. I'm not sure If that he wants this disclosed yet.

*edit* I'm a big fan of Brullen Exhaust. I'll have a system custom made very shortly.
