Shell V-Power...

Greetings from Greece.
Recently i went to the gas station and the guy said to me that i should try the new shell V-power unleaded gas.I didnt try it because i ve heard that i should use only 95 octanes unleadedgas(shell v-power is 95 octanes but it has the ability to clean the valves of the engile).Has anyone try this kind of gas in a rotary engine? Is it safe?
I own a FC3S Turbo II Convertible 91'

I wouldn't try it. I mean it won't hurt the car if you run it once... but you wont gain anything performance wise, contrary to what you might think :P

The shell vpower is not an octane booster. It has 95 octanes like the normal unleaded. Its supposed to clean the carbon from inside of your engine.Should i try it in order to clean the carbon from the rotors?

i find that many of those gas gimmicks are a bunch of crap. they banned stuff like that in the US because gasoline distributors were making claims that their gas would add 15 hp and 50k miles to your car. but it wont hurt anything so you might as well give it a try and see if you can tell a difference. if your car is N/A it will unnoticeably drop power but it is good for high boost TII's

What on earth do you need to run 95 in an FC for? Isn't that risking detonation?
