Shaving the side trim?
Has anyone shaved off the side trim? I'm keeping my eye out for a TII and don't really care what year it is (it's hard enough to find one as it is so I'm not gonna worry about age too much), but I'd like to know how the car would look without the trim on the side(or whatever it's called). If I get an early RX7 with the black trim I'm gonna wanna paint it or something, and just shaving it all together may not be that bad. It makes some cars look taller, but I've seen some RX7 pics that look like they don't have the side trim and they don't look that bad. Anyone have any close up pics? If I get a late model RX7 than I'll just leave the trim alone. I don't like the 80's look of the black plastic stipe running down the side, though.

I pulled my trim off because it was falling off, and I was sick of glueing it back on. The adhesive they (mazda) used is a big bitch to get off. But I like the way it look.

They did a better job in the 89-92 years on the side trim.
Yeah someone on the forum filled in the sides with bondo and repainted. THE ULTAMENT SLEEPER rx7.
Looked good.
