shaking, violent engine

the other day i was sitting at a stop light and i noticed that the shift **** was shaking a lot more than it usually did. then yesterday, i had the hood up and i noticed that the bitch was really rocking around? i thought maybe it could be an engine mount but i am not exactly sure. could it just be caused by having a low idle? i dunno, it was running a little hot when i noticed it and there was a different noise come from the air intake that i have never noticed before. it was a louder hissing sound then it usually makes at idle???

I have yet to see a 13B in a junkyard with a good engine mount. They're all dead. Time to replace those suckers.

How low is your idle? When mine used to be 200 RPM () my shiflter would rock like a ****. Now, with my 800 RPM idle, it is nice and smooth. Try to adjust your idle to 750 -800 RPM< then get motor mounts. Also, check out the Racing Beat Engine Torque brace on their website, www.racingbeat.com
