I'm having a bit of trouble removing the actual bulb. I have the lens off, but the bulb doesn't seem to want to budge if I twist it at all. Is there a set method for removing the bulb?

 

Just turn it a quarter turn and remove it

 

It's been a while since I fiddled with mine, but I think I had to push it in and then turn.

 

mine was rusted. So I broke the bulb and it still wouldnt come out with pliers. So then I cut the rear section off and pulled the bulb and socket out. Retrofitted a new socket from the parts store, dremeled it and epoxied it back in.

About a 4 hour bulb change.
