Haven't we ALL heard this
Lets see. Get a smaller type pallet. Then strap it to that. Then get a box and cut the bottom out. Then staple it to the pallet. That should suffice for a container.

Banned. I got OWNED!!!
If you're in the eastern US, use R & L carriers (trucking company) they should be the cheapest and easiest option fo ryou. I use them to ship my engines. Go to www.gorlc.com, find your local terminal, get directions there, take your engien (on a pallet drained and secured with shrinkwrap, bands, motorcycle tiedowns, rope, whatever) and have them ship it. Most cases a shortblock in the eastern US is $100 or under. Note that they do not service the western US yet, past a certain point near the rocky mountains. IF you're shipping here, try some other companies for quotes (some will not deal with individuals who dont have an acct.). In this case, I usually go with abf (www.abf.com) but their prices are quite a bit higher.
