sec. throttle plate(s)? you mean plat(e)... theres just one you can remove. its the first big one. removing it doesnt give you any horsepower advantages... i did it to mine, i got a litle quicker throttle response when revving, but no noticeable gain. its not really worth it. if your car is hard to start... meaning you have to crank it a few time or "pat" the gas for a few minutes to get it to run on its own then chances are its your waterthermo sensor. take off your alternator and youll see it sticking out of the back of your water neck close to the alternator.... the plug looks like a fuel injector plug. you cant miss it. get a new one of those and see if that helps.

hey thanx. I will check that sensor out. now what about the water sensor on the bottom of the radiator? should I check that one as well. when you removed that sec. throttle plate did you notice any difference when car is fully warmed up?
