I was wondering how much the stock seats weigh. I have the sport seats (88 GTU). Are they substantially heavier then aftermarket seats (bride low max)?

 

I dunno which seats I got but... I could hold a seat with one arm if they wernt so tall, or maybe I could if I really wanted to.

Doubt anybody weighed the seats, take one out and feel for yourself, it's 4 bolts size 16 or 14 I thinks, just don't sit in them while they're out, a friend took my pass seat out and I guess sat on it while it was outside (I was sleeping) bent the brackets, was not fun bending them back...

 

35 lbs including sliders and about the same as most aftermarket units when you add the sliders.
