Seat removal
Just hope you don't have any bolts that are rusted to the body. I have been lucky but I have seen people struggle for hours doing a simple seat swap. I would let them soak in penetrating fluid for a few hours just in case. But then again I doubt they salt the roads in NC.
Sometimes the seats can be tricky. It took me most of an afternoon to swap my worn 86 base's seats out for a set of TII seats. The two things that you need to watch out for are stripping the bolts and getting the holes to match up exactly right.
I ended up stripping one bolt on the passenger side while removing the old seat, so it had to be cut off. I had to drill a new hole and put a different bolt in there. Also, the seat rails didn't line up quite right so I had to have someone stretch it out with a crowbar while I bolted it in. Not exactly major problems, but just a couple irritating little things to watch out for. Last time I took them out they went in and out pretty easy though.
