Does anyone know if any other seats from different car will fit in the rx7? Im a ex linebacker and my im wide body and its just not to comfortable.

I know 2nd Gen seats fit 1st Gen and visa versa. I also have put a set of Recaro's in my 1st Gen no problem.

I recall someone looking to put a set of 300ZX seats in a 1st Gen, but never heard how successful he was.

Your right. The stock seats were designed for very narrow bottoms. Must be a Japanese thing.

 

it is more important to look at the size/position of the seat track, see what size it is and than look for some seats. Also, you should be aware that other japanese cars are more compatable.
