Seat belt qustion?

I own a 1988 Mazda RX-7. the rx-7 has the stock seat belts and I was woundering if there is a company that makes new seat blets for my rx-7 that are uptodate with the requirements on seat belts for new cars?

I just want to be safe

any help is nice.

With the availability of 5 point harnesses and the easyness of installing them a lil money now is hella good for an upgrade to that

Sorry but that's bad advice. First off it is illegal to modify the stock seatbelt system in some if not all states. Secondly you shouldnt have a 5 point harness belt without a roll cage. Stock seatbelts are designed to roll a driver/passenger towards the middle of the car in a rollover. If you roll over with a harness belt you arent allowed to roll inwards and if you roof collapses you can imagine what would happen.
