Screwed up putting top half of engine together

When I replaced the PD with a banjo bolt I only used one washer. I finished the rebuild without noticing my error.

It looks possible to take the banjo bolt out and add a washer without taking off the manifold. What do you guys think?

If you do, I'd love to know how..

I suppose if you removed the alternator, you *might* have enough room, but I doubt it.

I was able to do it. I got the bolt out with a regular wrench. I couldn't get a socket in there. I tried putting it back the same way but that was almost impossible. After dropping a few washers trying I gave up doing it that way. What I did was .... remove the thermostat housing ... Lift up the wire harness and keep it up by securing it with a zip tie(sp?). Than I ran a thin piece of thread through the washer and and another through the banjo ... I did that so if I dropped it I could just pull it up. With the wire harness out of the way and the thermostat housing out of the way I was able to fit my hand in there with no problem. It took a few tries but I was able to do it with out too much of a problem. It would be a lot harder to change a PD this way but it did look possible.

BTW I am charging my battery now in the hopes of getting my car started after 7 months! (keeping fingers crossed!)
