For Sale 1986 RX-7 N/A $300 Or Best
Hey guys.
Well, my fiance has decreed, and I must go along with this or else, that I have too many toys. It's either my RX-7 or my bike. I don't really have room for the 7, but I do for the bike, so for now I have to let my project go. I'll get a TII as soon as we get our house though...I promise!!!
Here's the vitals:
-133,000 miles.
-Manual 5 speed
-Base model with the 4 lug phone dial wheels
-It's got some rust along the wheel wells, but nothing serious, and it's got some rust on the sunroof.
-It's got a dent along the rear driver's side quarter, but if you're good with body work, I'm sure it'd be no problem.
-The engine starts and runs just fine, it's actually pretty strong. The only problem is it's got a nasty oil leak. It would appear that it either needs a new front eccentric shaft seal, or I've been told it might just be the washer under the eccentric shaft main bolt. I'm not sure, I haven't had lots of time to look at it.
-It needs a new rear passenger side caliper. The one on there sticks bad. You can drive the car, but not really far before it starts to stick.
-It could probably use a clutch bleed, but I added some fluid and it seems to be fine now.
-The seats are pretty ripped up. They've been like that since I got it, but nothing else on the interior is very bad. The dash is clean with no cracks or fading.
Now for some other stuff.
-This car is the 2+2, meaning it has the back seat.
-This car has new spark plugs (NGK) and new plug wires (Jacobs Performance Wires)
-It has a cone style intake
I am asking $700 for it, or the first realistic offer that I get. I've got to let it go fast, because I don't want the female to have it towed to the junk yard...I don't really know much about shipping a car, so if you can't come pick it up, I'll leave the arangements for shipping up to the buyer. The car can sit where it is for quite a while, as long as I convince the girl that it's sold.
E-mail me if interested at Gimpdiggity@cs.com
Thanks guys and gals.
Jeff

I can probably get some tonight or tomorrow morning. I'll have to see if my digi. cam. has batteries in it or not.
Also, please send me an e-mail so I can send you the pictures. For some reason, I can never get my photos to upload to the net, only through an e-mail??
thanks,
Jeff

Alright guys, here's the scoop.
The car is probably gonna get towed away in the next couple of weeks. My apartment complex has told me that they're starting to tow away cars that aren't registered, and I'm not going to pay to get it registered if it's not in perfect running order.
You can view what it has to offer by READING the original post in this thread. I'm sorry to say that, but I've got numerous e-mails and private messages asking me questions that I clearly stated in the first message of this thread.
I'm gonna take $300 for it now. Please take it off my hands, it needs a good home.
