is it safe to up boots

right now I'm running stock boost (5psi) with a street port engine and BNR stage 2 turbo on stock ecu and fuel. would i be able to up to boost slightly (10 psi being the max i would go) and still be safe or would i be putting my engine at risk?

At the very least, to go over 8.6psi, you require a FCD

Yes it is VERY risky. I wouldn't do it without bigger injectors and a Walbro 255 at the very least. You should look into getting an Rtek maybe too.

even at stock boost levels stock ecu with a street port and stage 2 turbo sounds like a reciept for disaster. the icnreased flow from the street port and larger turbo is probably close to maxing out your injectors at stock boost level even...

u should probbaly at least get the rtek 1.8 and 4x 720cc injectors then a walbro 255.

Well i plan to go with the rtek 2.1 when i put the car away for winter. what if i was to turn the boost down and/or retard the timing would that give me more of a buffer zone on the engine?
