Is it safe to put a RR FPR on a near standard T11????

my 87 T11 which has quite low kms 100000 or 60000 odd miles and i put a pod filter on it and a 3inch inlet pipe and its started boosting 8-9 in 1,2,3 and 11-12 in 4th and 5th, its got a 2.5inch exhaust and a FCD and it leans out at around 220kph and i get a splutter, so b4 i can afford a injector change and ecu change im gona put a RRFPR on it to help it out, is this safe........

by the way if i upgrade my secondard injectors to 720cc or around that can i leave the stock ecu system?? or does that need to change also???

thank you

well what fuel pump are you using?? if your running that high of boost on the stock fuel pump it probably cant keep up . so using a RRFPR wont help, since it cant keep up with the pressure anyway....

You don't mention a fuel pump upgrade. If you're still using the stock pump that'll be why you're running lean. Don't bother with the RRFRP, just get a decent pump.

That's a real bad way of trying to band aid your problem.

Why not figure out why you're leaning out at the top end?

When you run out of fuel injector pulsewidth, shunting the fuel pressure is NOT the best way to solve this problem.
