u should be ok, u really should have something to control the fuel, such as a safc. But i suggest picking one of those up first, u never know what may happen, better to be safe then cost u an engine

Well without a way to control fuel your just going to the dyno for a sheet. No tuning can really be done other than timing.

Get an SAFC and do a safe dyno run to see where your AFR's are at. Once you know you can then tune in and out the fuel to get perfect AFR's.

Then you never have to worry about detonation due to shifty modding.

I am running cleaned and tested 550's and a walbro.
TID/RB 2.5 DP to Presilincer to CS single. I plan to put on the 2k miles and then get an SAFC and dyno it.

I want this car to be as reliable as I can possibly get it since I drive 64 miles a day.

i know using a fuel controller is the correct way to tune on a dyno. HOWEVER, i'm wondering if i'll be safe running 10 lbs with no fuel controller (but a walbro255 fuel pump)

With intake/exhaust/walbro/safc, and stock 550's, what's the max boost that I can run safely? I was thinking about tuning it on the dyno to 8-10 psi. Depending on what the consensus here is.
