SAFC power wire

I've read the instructions but the harness I was sent with my safc has a sort of hacked up/shortened power wire. I didnt know if it actually mattered if I hooked up the wire to the ECU or if I hooked it up to somewhere like the power for the head unit. I'd prefer the latter. Thanks.

Just make sure the lead you use is always on when the starter is engaged. Kinda sucks having the afm go dead as you try to start the car. They don't like to run very well without the afm signal.

take if from the ECU... you are trying to read a low voltage off the AFM. you need it to be exact. getting power from somewhere else with slightly change the voltage across it... just make the wire longer.
