well ive tried a thing where i set the throttle position to ** on the safc which makes it so you dont get a readout....well i did that, then switched it back to the correct throttle position...and it changed it...like it showed 1.5% throttle when i wasnt even touching the gas....some guy with an s5 showed me that but i cant get it to work out right....by the way my car is an 87 SE

when kleach18 and i were tuning his car, we had the same problem, except that it showed 100% throttle at idle to red line. i ended up findin out that going to ** resets it like slo7 says...we had it at 20% throttle at idle and went up to 100% when we were at half throttle. i dont think that our tps is good enough to get a decent reading.

S4 cars dont have a full-range TPS, so it maxes out before you even hit 1/4 throttle. If you have a turbo car, I would reccomend running the throttle signal from the boost sensor, its full range, and you can make you high map only come on when you hit boost. If you have an Na, your screwed and have to deal with shitty gas mileage.

when it says 60% it is at atmospheric (0psi) on my elec boost gauge. That is where I have the switch from low to high set. I have the line spliced in right before the FCD at the pressure sensor. Everything isnt tuned yet, and my motor only has about 500 miles on it, so I can't tell you how well it works, but if you search I know there are some past threads that bring it up.
The advantage to this over throttle signal is gas mileage. I have yet to see a disadvantage other than needing to pay more attention to the low maps when tuning, so you arent wasting gas there either.
