SAFC to adjust TPS
when i am using this method, i have read that the volts need to be between .95 and 1.0 in't that too broad. I am going to double check with test lamps, to see where it ends up on the safc when only one light lit. has anyone done this before

Using your safc is a pretty acurate method for tps tuning. The reason why they say .9 to 1v is cause its very difficult to keep it in that range. I have found that on very hot days when the tps reads like .93 and on cold days it reads just over 1v. If you are good, you can adjust most hings with your safc, like idle mixture and idle speed.

If you have the factory service manual it tells you how to adjust idle MIXTURE by simply using an acurate tachometer. The SAFC is pretty accurate, or at least you can tell the differentce between 25 rpms. Follow the service manual.
