Sad stroy

Here is a sad story... My dad has a 88 na that he loves to death but wanted more power. He saw a beatifull red TII at a car lot and took it on a test drive. Now my dads a pretty good driver with a couple of autocross seasons under his belt but he got a little carried away... He was doing about 95 down a straight away coming up on corner (this is his version) went to tap on brakes the brakes locked up pitched the car side ways into a telephone pole. The car knocked down the power pole! The pole hit on the drivers side right at the begining of the drivers door, it pushed the outside of car completly to the center of the dash. Somehow my dads legs got thrown over the center console or they would be gone. It knocked my dad out for over 2hr. When the cop came up on the car he told my dad he was afraid to look in because he knew for sure the drive was dead. He took a picture with my dad laying there with his tongue haging out passed out. The took him to a hospital in medford because it was larger than the one here grants pass. He was very lucky he only had some brusied ribs and brocken leg. But it gets better
The next day he is sitting in his recliner with his leg up thinking how he just took a TII out of this world when he hears his RX7 start up outside in the drive away He starts yelling at my mom that someone is stealing his car but they drive off before she can do anything... Luckly the cops found the car a few days later on a forest service road out of gas with no damage Neadless to say my dad was depressed for a few days...

Actually it turned out pretty well. Dad a little beat up, but ok, and got your car back. Just goes to show ya, even an experienced driver can have a problem.
Good luck.

Well I actually have a 87 TII now and he gets to drive on the track (just not around ant telphone poles).
Actually the most stolen cars around here are junkers, I guess just because they joy ride them and dont know how to chop em...
