Exclamation s5 wiring harness (arron cake chime in)

anywyas i saw this from AC..not sure if i understood correctly

im doing a engine swap,t2 to NA (dead body NA,,no engine t2)

if i understood this correctly,i can use the old harness/computer from the t2 on the NA?

i have the complete NA (im still driving it) and the t2 has everything minus the engine/tranny,but all the wiring/sensors are still connected

anyone shed some light on this,im trying to make my job easy as possible

Explain a little better exactly what you're doing here.

if they are the same series, use the engine harness, ecu and sensors from the NA. personally, i would just sell all the NA stuff and get a turbo motor. putting a NA motor into a t2 is blasphemy

So you want to put a 6 port motor into the TII body. First of all, why would you do that? Is the NA car beat to hell, while the TII body is in good shape? Otherwise the bodies are almost identical.

Second, you need to pair the NA motor with an NA ECU, boost sensor & afm. You can use the TII's engine harness and body harnesses, but you must swap 2 connections: 6PI & turbo duty solenoid, VDI & knock sensor.

ya my NA body is beat to hell and back, and the t2 has no engine in it,so im just swapping everything into the t2 shell, and i just want to avoid swapping what i dont have to(aka save time) ...screw it,ill just rip the entire harness out.....

I might have misunderstood the above, but no,you just need to do what RotaryRockt88 said. No reason at all to rip anything out.
