If both inside and outside handles don't work, you probably have that blasted broken spring on the latch problem.
It's a royal pain in the *** for one stupid little spring to break.

First, you need to open the door.
I usually drop the window all the way down and peek inside.
You should be able to see the linkages.
I straightened coat hanger should be able to get to the door latch to pop it open.

Once the door is opened, you'll need to remove the inner door panel.
Once the panel is off, move the plastic inner moisture lining.
Peek at the door latch.
You should see a spring - or a black piece of "hose" about 1/4" in diameter and about an inch long - hanging there.
You need to remove the old, broken one and replace it with a new one.
I just went down to Home Depot and got a generic spring to match.
Home Depot had one about the same diameter, but the length was too long - I just cut the excess.

Now the PITA part...
You need to hook both ends - this part is a bitch!

Good luck!
