S5 vert , auto intake qeustion
hey i have a 87 base rx7 and i wanted to do the intake modification. i was getting the parts from a s5 vert auto and i was wondering if i could use it or do i need a manual one ? and if it has cruise control will it still work ? and what parts do i need other than the upper, lower manifolds, fuel rail , bac connector ?
It doesn't matter if the manifolds & rails come off of an automatic car. It's all the same.
S5 UIM
S5 primary & secondary rails
Modify S5 UIM to fit S4 LIM
Reuse S4 TB
Then all the little things like bending the OMP rod, grinding the rear iron for clearance & re-routing vacuum lines.
