s5 turbo upgrade for my s4 tii. Any surprises to be had?
Hello! I will soon be upgrading my s4 turbo to the OEM s5. I am getting the manifold/Turbo and all gaskets... Is there any surprises that I may run into with this job?
Seems simple enough.
All of my fuel stuff is stock and in new condition. The only other power mod I have is the racing-beat cat replacement pipes.
P.s. what are the differences exactly between the s4 turbo and s5. I have read somewhere that the s5 is a larger turbo. Is this true? I know that is has a far superior wastegate over the s4, which is why I'm getting it. My port job on the s4 turbo didnt go so well and is not sealing properly and I will have to attempt to salvage it. I am not going for crazy boost levels in the end. I want a strong quick 10psi, and from what I understand this is the right turbo for the job...
