Angry s5 Turbo TB and upper manifold removal

I'm trying to get my upper manifold a throttlebody of, but it won't come loose. Search yeilds plenty of info on n/a, but none on turbo. I've taken of the 4 bolts on the upper manifold above the ACV, and 4 bolts off the TB, although one seem like its probably holding 2 parts of the TB together, not the TB to anything. It still feels like it's securely bolted down. I want to be sure that I haven't missed a bolt, before i resort to aggressive forms of "persuasion".

there is a bolt ON TOP of the UIM (in the middle) its long, undo that. if it wont crack loose after that, then you got a seized gasket. then its time to put some muscle into it

You don't need to remove the connection between the TB and the UIM. It's 4 nuts around the UIM, one bolt in the middle UIM (all of these are in the same vicinity...all will be seen in the gasket UIM/LIM--if that helps...it has 5 holes).

Then there's one nut that needs to be removed by the TPS on the intercooler bracket...that ones fun. After that, you should be able to remove and start to have room to jiggle it around as you disconnect and remove coolant/vacuum lines. There is a pain in the *** coolant line that runs from the TB to the rear rotor. It's hard to see and it will seem like it's hanging (the UIM/TB combo) on something near the firewall side of it.

Should've read the FSM.

As mentioned, you've missed the big bolt on top of the UIM. Dunno how that one gets missed... There's also a nut the holds the TB to the intercooler bracket. You need to remove the oil filler pipe to reach this with a socket.
...and 4 bolts off the TB, although one seem like its probably holding 2 parts of the TB together, not the TB to anything.
You don't undo those until the UIM is off. Two hold the TB cover plate on, the other two are two of the four nuts that hold the TB on the UIM.

Do you know about the coolant hose under the TB? You will soon...

I got it off, god I feel like an idiot. I just met the coolant hose, stupid piece of crap... I'm gonna eat something then try harder. Although I'm real close to cutting the damn thing, but that would be weak. As for the FSM, my stupid computer has started having issues with pdf's. Thanks again everyone.

Ahh, it's not a symptom of windows built-in self destruct, I just didn't have the most recent version of acrobat. I can view them again, that's gonna make my life easier.

If that hose hasn't been off since new, or for many years, it will be damn near impossible to get off. Just cut it off and get a new one. The next time the UIM comes off you'll find it's much easier. Make sure you replace the squeeze-type hose clamps with screw ones. Much easier to remove and install.

Been working on that since I got it. Everytime a squeeze-type clamp comes off it gets replaced with a screw-type.

Anyhow, I got the upper manifold and TB off, and the rats nest. The connecters to my fuel injectors are chewed to hell, which is probably the cause of my hard starting problems. I also found a loose wire. It's bundled with the wires to the front secondary injector. It's teal green with a black or brown stripe. Anyone recognize that one? Or is it time for me to pull out the wiring diagrams?
