S5 turbo on S4 TII ECU?

Google search never showed much results so I figured i would ask here.
I have heard you can bolt on a S5 turbo onto a S4 TII engine as long as you have the manifold. My question is though- can you run the S5 turbo with the S4 ECU?

Yes. The s4 ecu cares not. I put a whole s5 motor in my old s4. Little bit of wiring and obviously no oil metering pump, so blocked off and premixed. I also fully deleted emissions and cold start etc. I did have a gizmo fcd, unsure if s5 turbo has a higher boost watergate spring in it? So that might be a problem for the s4 ecu.

the S5 is the same, AND it has a better wastegate design, so it should actually have better boost control
