S5 turbo rebuilding options

I have a 89 turbo II with 115,000 miles with a racing beat down pipe pre-silencer. My turbo is blown and needs to be rebuilt. My question is can I do anything performance wise when I get it rebuilt. What are my options if any.

I Have a turbonetics hybrid that I blew up so I sent it down to Majestic Turbos in texas and they rebuilt it and clipped the blades for faster spooling. It cast me $400 but that was through a rotary shop here where I'm sponsered. I hit 20 lbs in second and thats turned down because I have a carbuereted FC and I haven't gotten my fuel and spark right, but I was told it should hit 27lbs! I can't wait.
