S5 Turbo Guage Cluster needed for S5 TII swap?
I think I'm answering my own question here but I'm just trying to be as thorough as possible about the TII S5 swap into my vert'......This started out as an NA S4 -S4TII swap but it seems that most of the engine(harness and ecu included w/various sensors etc)/tranny complete swaps I'm finding are s5's so I'm going with it given the added advantages as well. Anyway, My vert' is an 88' S4 with the TII rear end already swapped in and I am just trying to tie up lose ends as far as what I need to finish the swap without being short some parts and the dash was a concern......
Thanks in advance

Well since it sounds like you have a franken7, you need to find out which plugs for the guage cluster you have. If the wires and ECU are S5 then you can use an S5 cluster. Turbo, or NA will work. If you use an NA remember the Red line is lower in a Turbo. If the wires to the dash are S4 and you have a S5 ECU you are in trouble. Use the FSMs to find out which harness you have, and check the ECU number to find out wich series it is.
FSMs can be downloaded free, at the very least you can match up the wire colors and pins to the harness to find out. A simple search should get you the ECU numbers

Very nice.........Well, I have an uncut S4 Turbo harness that I want to sell later but the engine/tranny combo supposedly comes with an UNCUT S5 TII (1990) harness/ECU. I'm assuming from what you wrote above I would still need the wiring from the back of the dash from an S5 TII (if I wanted to use the TII cluster) as well to complete this as mine is definitely S4 NA.
