S5 turbine exhaust housing inspection found cracks:

Im using a S5 turbo for my SA22C build. I felt I should post here for advice. I am planning on having my housing ceramic coated for heat insulation. I'm leans to Swain's White lightning. anyways I have disassembled the turbo based on the amazing write up on this forum. everything looked amazing until I got to this point.

cracks in the barrier between the twin scroll housing.

Look benign, but looking for opinions.

the flange is in top shape and there is no other issues on this housing.

thank you for your advice

No worries on radial cracks like that. If they curve off to the axial direction and start to circle the exhaust wheel then a chunk might fall out eventually.

My S5 build in 2001 had such cracking and i raced it for another 40,000miles and they didnt expand.

I think having free flowing exhaust helps so much over stock cats and exhaust when it comes to turbo heat.
