im about to buy this FC that this local kid is sick of working.... its an S4, and he put the S5 transmission in it and cant get it to mount up right... he said something about it needing spacers. Anyone aware of what i am mentioning, also . Will the S4 clutch work with the S5 tranny..ANY info would be great, i am prolly gonna buy this car tomorow.

 

he probably tried to use the s4 crossmember for the transmission. get a s5 crossmember and it will line up. clutch is the same.

 

I've got an S4 case in my S5, just use the crossmember from the same series as the tranny and you're fine.
