Question S5 TO4 hybrids on S4 ?

I was wondering how many of you had a To4 hybrid with a stock hot side on your cars? And when do you spool up? How hard is it to keep the boost down?

I have an S5 TO4 hybrid with a stock hot side on my s4 and so far I dont get any boost untill about 5K. So I was just wondering what boost curve people with a similiar turbo setups have. Thanx for the help!

Turbo was just rebuilt! The rebuilder said there was a crack on the turbine housing by the wasgate and it would leak so I wouldn't build boost as quickly. But then Bryan at BNR said it was good. JUst a hairline crack no big deal. He said it was a really good turbo and rebuilt well. ( I had sent it to him to replace the housing but he said no need to)

What numbers do you do?
no turbines wheels are clipped. Hot-side is stock, and cold side is like 60-1 something I dunno. What ever goes into a ported TO4 housing

Oh the wastgate is ported to! Thanx!

What kind of clutch are you running with that turbo? I will be running with a simular setup. My engine is street ported, will have turbo-back exhuast, and microtech... so would that be good or too much for this clutch : http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=2446545683

Clutch? Why don't you start a thread? I wouldn't be able to tell you, because my turbo isn't working right yet. So, can't help you there but any after market clutch should do it. I think there's a thread about clutches. Look there.

Spend a few more bucks and you can get the ACT kit that includes a better (not stock) disk. In all about 20 dollars to be exact.

This is what Rpeck doesn't want to talk about...there's more, you just have to dig...

Don't mean to stir any graves or anything.
