S5 TII fuel rail question

S5 TII fuel rail question

theres two vacuum source on the end of the rail, in the regulator. were do i need to put the vaccum like at? thanks

Uh, no regulator I've ever seen has 2 vacuum nipples. It has one big nipple for the fuel to return to the tank, and one little nipple for vacuum/boost reference, which controls fuel pressure. The small nipple needs to go to a source on the intake manifold that sees both vacuum and boost. When removing emissions/etc. I usually route this hose to the nipple on the LIM, just above the 2 oil injectors. The fuel outlet line needs to run to the one on the firewall by the oil filter. Simple as that.

no mine have two vaccum nipple on both side if the regulator and i dont know were to put the vaccum line to. heres a pic of it

that doesnt quite look like a stock regulator, though it might be the picture.

Pull the upper manifold off and take another, clearer picture for us.

is a S5 metal rail not the S4 aluminum one. i dont really wanna take the intake offthats ok. thanks

sorry to bring this tread back but i have another pic of my stock regulator i just wanna know were to put the vacuum line into? i have it right now in the one toward the intake i dont know if anybody have this tipe if S5 fuel rail

I have never ever seen or heard tell of one like that. I believe I'd swap it in favor of a normal stock one.

so youre telling me that this is a odd ball one? i damage an S4 one i had when i swaped my engine and this one a friend of mine had it and gave it to me and i know it came from a S5 turbo II. ohh well im getting a different regulator anyways thanks

I got exacly the same regulator and I dont know what is what on that thing either.
Mine is also an S4 TII with a S5 TII engine.
Anyone got any more clues?

I happen to have a stock s5 turbo rail/regulator for sale if any of you guys want to stop monkeying around with this oddball stuff.
