S5 TII Engine into S4 TII

I have been searching and researching on how to swap an S5 TII engine into my S4 TII. I just blew out the apex seals on one rotor yesterday and need to do a swap way ahead of schedule.

Well anyway, my question is:

When swapping an S5 TII engine into and S4 TII, can I used the S5 harness with the S5 ecu? On websites like rotary ressurection, they say that I should use the s4 ecu and harness, but that also means replacing the front cover so that i can use the mechanical omp. is that really necessary?

Thanks!
Jonathan

you cant use S5 ECU without changing the other harness in the car because all the connectors are different from s4 to s5 that is why the swap is difficult
