Someones selling a S5 diff mount in my area. Mine has play in it and it makes a clunk when i creep forward. Would this be a worthwhile upgrade or go straight to the aftermarket upgraded one? How much should I pay for the S5 diff mount?. I'm kinda strapped for cash so i cant shell out the $100+ bucks for an aftermarket one. thank!

 

I think they're the same. Best way to get a good mount is go to the pick-a-part.. find an auto FC at the junkyard.. the ones of those cars are usually in pretty good shape.

 

you want a mount that has a pinnion snubber built in, unless you want to install one of them sepratly..
