S5 tii advice on manifolds

I recently acquired a s5 tii motor I'll be using to put in a s5 vert. With the block came separately manifolds and turbo, water pump and housing ect. I'm going through everything and I'm noticing the block is indeed a s5 block, but it's sporting a s4 front cover. A s4 water pump and housing came with it, as well as s4 upper and lower intake manifolds. The turbo is a BNR stage 3 turbo, but I'm not sure if it's a s4 or s5 but I'm assuming its prob s4 considering everything else including the afm was s4. I think the original owner bought a s5 Pettit ots motor and planned on dressing it with all s4 stuff.

Question I guess is, am I better off getting a set of s5 manifolds? Can I get a s5 water pump housing and pump and still have it fit with a s4 front cover on there? I'm not worried about OMP as I'll be running premix. I'll also be running a standalone system. I have a fd upper and thought about going that route as well...do the "rising rpm" adapter plates still exist? Just trying to get a idea what direction is best here...keep this stuff, or buy all s5 stuff or does it really even matter... Also came with a s4 TB so is a s5 going to be better tps wise? Any advice is appreciated...thanks

Use the s4 front cover so that you do not need to put the Electronic omp back on...that is unless you are gonna be running the STOCK ecu then you should have the s5 cover on.
The Turbo flange should be Square-ish if it is an S5 based BNR turbo..if it has an actuator and has a square flange with a "corner missing" then it is an s4.
Use the s5 lower intake with the FD upper and TPS.
If you stay S5 based then use the s5 TB and TPS.

Basically with the standalone you can configure the engine to whatever.

Ok so definitely a s5 turbo thanks for that...does anyone know where to find a adapter plate for the fc lower to FD upper? There's one on ebay they want 1400 bucks for..a bit outrageous...I'm sure I could have somewhere custom fab it for less than a 3rd of that...the rising rpm plates looked great but they don't seem to exist anymore

There's a thread on here about an alternative to the adapter from RisingRPM..(Sec Gen Specific section)
You could always just port match..or then again look for that thread.

meh, if you have an S4 intake manifold it isn't worth the work of going through all that unless you're trying to break 500whp, then it is easier with an FD upper. if you had nothing, then yeah it might be a better route. there is almost no difference in airflow between the S4 and S5 complete manifolds.

Use whichever manifolds s4 or s5 but keep a s5 throttle body if using s5 computer because of tps. Vice versa for s4. May have to change a stud or two that the throttle body sits on

Saw dyno results for fd uim on Fc. He had about ~350hp and fd manifold had more torque slightly lower in the rpm range with same hp in high rpm with nothing else changed.

Well the S4 lower and S5 lower have different bolting patterns to the upper manifold.
The FC/FD adapters that are made are usually of the S5 variety,Unless they have those special wobble bolts.
I have seen just the adapter plate,no wobble bolts.Just a piece with holes, that slips in between the manifolds that do the job just as well but they are usually S5.
I made mine fit on an s4 but had to drill the holes and "hone" the adapter a bit.
