s5 t2 swap in vert
hey guys...im planning to swap in a s5 t2 motor into my s5 vert....jus wondering...if i get it with the tranny...do i have to swap the whole rear end too?...or will it bolt up to my stock driveline?....if i just get the motor, will it work fine with my stock tranny?...thanks guys...ur replies are much appreciated....

You have to trim the cross brace on the 'verts for the 2.5 and 3" downpipes. This can be done with a torch or angle grinder with minimal effort. The stock precat/jspec downpipe fits the crossbar with no interference...the larger diameter of aftermarket pipes presents the clearance issue.

However, if you decide to upgrade the turbo and get a turbo kit you may run into some manifold wastegate placement fitment issues with the bracing.
